Courteeners are set to play a one-off warm up show at The Middlesbrough Empire on Friday 27th May ahead of their headline set at Neighbourhood Weekender (Saturday 28th May).

Tickets for The Middlesbrough Empire go on sale at 9am, Friday 6th May.

This is the first Courteeners live show of 2022. Following Neighbourhood Weekender, the band headline Y Not Festival in Pikehall, Derbyshire on Saturday 30th July.

One of the most successful UK bands of the last 20 years, formed in Manchester in 2006 and initially lauded as one of ‘the world’s biggest underground acts’, Courteeners have gone on to dominate the UK album charts with every release landing inside the top 10. Their eagerly anticipated new album ‘More. Again. Forever.’ is released on 17 Jan 2020.

With a history of playing huge sold out shows, including Manchester’s Heaton Park with all 50,000 tickets selling in just 3 hours, the return to live action for Courteeners with this show at The Middlesbrough Empire gives fans a unique and rare opportunity to catch the band in an intimate setting before they take to the stage at festivals across the UK this summer in front of audiences of 25,000+ people.
